Haven’t had time to put quill to journal properly until this late today. As I said in the quick note on Mum’s journal last night, they decided largely in my favour. Huge relief, as I was quite sure it was going to go badly once I saw the invited guests.
In order: 1) They cleared me entirely regarding January. I have strong guesses about what actually happened, but they are not apparently pursuing it further. No, I don’t know why.
2) They’re tabling the question of an assistant until the end of term, and agreed to discuss some specific roles and names, rather than a general “it might be nice.”
3) There’s more conversation about guiding Harry Marvolo in particular. I gather from what little was said that it’s an ongoing conversation between Our Lord and several Council members, and until they decide on a direction, it’s hard to determine our next steps.
4) Somewhat grudgingly, I am not otherwise in trouble (they really had no cause, but it was good to hear.)
The rest of it, well. Thinking over a lot of things, really. Mum, thank you for the last package, and the sachets are helpful, and that second tisane, the one you thought, seems to work best. (Not wonderfully, but some, and I’m more willing to use it than a potion.) And Dad, thank you for all I learned from you about how to lay out information to guide the eye to what I want someone to pay attention to.
