I admit, I would feel better with a bit more practice time. (But I also hate to give up other time with you. It's not as if we get that much that's just the two of us.)
You'd suggested talking to Narcissa, though, hadn't you, last year? And if I am going to New London anyway, regularly, it might be easier to manage now.
The piece that's still so hard for me is reacting quickly enough to the unexpected, and that's as true for a verbal response as a hex. I can't help thinking that improving my reflexes with one might help the other.
