Hello, both. I keep coming back to look at the transcripts from April and I still think something is odd. I’d like to try floating some changes, and seeing what the response is.
Felix: Would you send the following out on my behalf to the full committee, via owl? And then copy and include the map sketches 2c, 2d, 2g, and 2k.
[begin note] We’ve had several followup conversations about pieces of the CCF planning, particularly the solo activity for the rising 5th years. Proposals currently under consideration:
1) moving the day from the beginning of week 2 to the beginning of week 3 to allow greater time for skill acquisition.
2) moving the location to a space easier to oversee, particularly given the security considerations around Harry Marvolo. (Which would mean planning for Bedford Purlieus or the Peak District park, instead of centering on Hambleton, and additional consideration for endangered magical creatures in those other two sites.)
3) adjusting the location of individual students at Hambleton - please see the attached sketches for alternates. (2c is the one currently chosen.)
I’d appreciate your comments (to me and to Campanella) no later than the end of next week. Kindly include any thoughts on all three, or just let me know you have no problems with either the current or proposed. We’ll make a final decision no later than the June 25th meeting. [end note with the usual stuff]
Campanella: thanks for yesterday. I did just see the invite for supper Saturday, and I’m glad I’ve got other plans, really. That crowd does not enthuse. I’ll look forward to seeing you at noon, though.
